1. Our commitment

HerDate is committed to keeping our platform free of child sexual abuse and exploitation. We explicitly prohibit CSAE and CSAM on HerDate. We review reports, remove violating content and accounts, and escalate confirmed CSAM to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

2. Definitions

  • CSAE — Child sexual abuse and exploitation: any sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment of a person under 18, including grooming, solicitation, trafficking, or other conduct that facilitates harm to children.
  • CSAM — Child sexual abuse material: any visual, audio, or written depiction of sexual content involving a person under 18, whether real, generated, or simulated.
  • Child / minor — Anyone under 18 years of age.

3. Prohibited conduct & content

On HerDate, the following are strictly forbidden:

  • Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or distributing CSAM or any content that depicts or sexualizes anyone under 18.
  • Grooming, soliciting, or attempting to engage minors in sexual activity, or facilitating contact with minors for sexual purposes.
  • Misrepresenting your age to access HerDate if you are under 18, or helping a minor create or use an account.
  • Using HerDate to advertise, link to, or otherwise promote CSAE or CSAM on other platforms.
  • Any other conduct that facilitates the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.

Violations may result in immediate content removal, permanent account bans, and referral to law enforcement. There is no warning for CSAM or CSAE.

4. Age restriction (18+)

HerDate is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly allow minors to create accounts or use the Service. Users must confirm they are 18+ when registering. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will suspend or delete it and remove associated content. See also our Privacy Policy — Minors.

5. How to report

Anyone can report suspected CSAE, CSAM, underage users, or related concerns:

  • In the HerDate app — Use the built-in Report and Block tools on profiles, messages, or content to submit feedback and safety reports.
  • By email — Write to support@winkmeet.com with subject line “Child Safety / CSAE — [details]”. Include the HerDate profile or username, screenshots if available, and a brief description. Do not forward illegal imagery in email if avoidable; describe what you saw and where.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (for example 112 in India), then report to us.

6. How we address CSAM & CSAE

When HerDate obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE on our platform, we take appropriate action consistent with these standards and applicable law, including:

  • Removing the content as quickly as practicable
  • Suspending or permanently banning the responsible account(s)
  • Preserving relevant records as required for investigations
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional authority (for example cybercrime or child protection agencies in India)
  • Cooperating with lawful requests from law enforcement

We may also restrict features, require verification, or take other measures reasonably needed to prevent further harm.

7. Compliance with child safety laws

HerDate complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including obligations to prohibit CSAE/CSAM, respond to reports, and report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the appropriate regional authority. Nothing on this page limits our obligation to follow mandatory reporting or preservation duties under law.

8. Child safety point of contact

For notifications about CSAE or CSAM related to HerDate — including from Google Play, users, or authorities — contact our designated child safety point of contact:

Email: support@winkmeet.com
Subject: “Child Safety Point of Contact — HerDate”

This contact can speak to HerDate’s enforcement and review procedures and take action when required.

9. Updates

We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of HerDate after updates means you accept the revised standards where permitted by law.
